Gina Coutts grew up in a musical family. She has had the good fortune
of seeing many jazz legends live in concert. Bill Evans, Lenny Breau,
Dizzy Gillespie, Ray Brown... She's seen them all and many more. It was
probably Moe Kaufman who inspired her to pick up her beloved flute. The
alto sax came next "just for jazz" as an unexpected mid-life transition.
Gina facilitates a beginner jazz band where she enjoys playing musicals,
as well as plays with an "alternative" marching band.
